If you are a tax-exempt organization located outside of Illinois, you may process your order through the Kirix store and will not be charged sales tax. Downloading, Installing and Activating Kirix Strata

How do I download the software?

You may download a free, 30 day trial version from our download page. Once the 30 days has passed, you'll just need to enter a serial number to activate it. A serial number is provided at the end of the purchase process. Additionally, immediately after making a purchase, you will be provided with a link to download the software.

How do I install the software?

After downloading the software, simply double-click the setup icon and the installation wizard will appear. Follow the directions in the wizard to complete the installation. After you install, a Kirix Strata icon will appear. Click on that icon to begin using the software. Please see the installation instructions for further help.

My software says my license is expired, how can I activate the software?

The software download works, fully featured, for 30 days without requiring activation. However, after 30 days, a serial number is required to activate it. To activate the software, select Activate... from the Help menu in Strata. An activation panel will appear. Enter your serial number and press OK to activate over the internet. Please see the activation instructions for further help. If you do not have a serial number, you may obtain one by purchasing a Strata license from the online store

Why can't I activate the software?

Sometimes in a corporate environment, firewalls are set up that limit various type of communication over the internet. If you are in this type of setting, you should activate your software manually. To activate manually, first log in to your Kirix Account. Then, select the Generate Activation Code link. There, you will enter your serial number as well as the site code from the Activate panel in Strata. Finally, you can generate an activation code to use to unlock the software. Please see the activation instructions for further help.

I need to reinstall my software, can I do this?

Absolutely. If you have a new computer and need to reinstall the software, you can just download the software again and use your serial code to activate it. To be sure you are using the software download that matches your serial number, go to your Kirix Account and select the Download Software link.

I lost my serial number, can I get a copy of it?

Yes, simply log in to your Kirix Account, and click on the View Licenses link. There you will be able to obtain your serial number(s).

Can I install the software on both my laptop and desktop computers?

Yes, you may install the software on two different computers, such as a work computer and home computer if a) you are the only person using the software on these computers and b) the two copies of the software are not being used at the same time. Otherwise, concurrent use of the software is prohibited by the Kirix Strata license. Please see the end-user licensing agreement for full details.

The minimum requirements for installing Kirix Strata are as follows:
